HOW PCR TEST DETERMINES IF YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE COVID-19 INFECTION

COVID-19 swab test detects SARS-CoV-2 virus particles in the nose and throat through sampling those areas and performing a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) evaluation of the specimen.
